Of pets and children

everyone - well almost - who’ve known that i keep a python for a pet have asked if i have been bitten. I’ved always responded "yes, but I have learned to tell when it will strike".

"when?" they would ask excitedly.

"when you least expect it" I’d answer dryly.

This reminds me…

As I have discovered lately, that just like the abovementioned - I think I can back my claim: parents have fully understood the ways of their children when they finally give up and accept that they know nothing about them.

…or maybe its just me…I hope, with their help, this view of mine will change for the better before they turn into ‘teens’

Right now maximum tolerance is enforced and it is being run by paternal care instinct…or love.
